Sitges Loves Events and continues with the promotion strategy and the F5 Sitges Refreshing MICE project. Its aim is to generate wealth and visibility for the Sitges CB\u2019s associate members, attracting and investing in professional events in our destination.<\/p>\n

From March 6th<\/sup> to 8th<\/sup>, Sitges hosted the meeting of the ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) Iberian and France Benelux Annual Chapter Meeting<\/strong>, a great opportunity to reinforce Sitges’ leadership as a MICE destination and to establish contacts.<\/p>\n

We are now working on the organisation of the French market workshop “Catalunya Business Meetings” to be held from June 3rd to 5th in Sitges<\/strong>, as initiative of the Calipolis Hotel and with the support of the CCB and the Sitges CB.<\/p>\n

We have also received the visit of 52 professionals from the MICE sector<\/strong>, who have attended two fam-trips coming from British and Swiss markets, organised by the Meli\u00e1 Sitges and the ME Sitges Terramar hotels, and another from the national market organised by the Sunway Sitges hotel.<\/p>\n

Yes, we have had a spectacular start to the year and once again, the commitment of the automotive and mobility sector to the destination has been reaffirmed.<\/strong> Toyota and Volvo have organised presentations in Sitges and Lexus has presented the new Lexus LBX to its network of dealers, who stayed for 28 days at Eurostars Sitges and held their gala dinners at Restaurant PicNic. And of course, we have received congresses, conventions, company meetings, etc.\u00a0 Yes, Sitges Loves Events!From March 6th to 8th Sitges hosted the meeting of the Iberian and Benelux ICCA Chapters. Sitges and the Associate Members of the Sitges Convention Bureau hosted the activities during the three days: Meli\u00e1 Sitges<\/a>, ME Sitges Terramar<\/a>, Fam\u00edlia Torres<\/a>, Clos La Plana<\/a> and the restaurants P\u00edcnic<\/a> and Can Laury<\/a>. Fun-Acci\u00f3 Sitges Events<\/a> organised a solidarity gymkhana to collect food, which allowed them to visit the most emblematic places in Sitges, ending at the CIM- Centre d\u2019Interpretaci\u00f3 de la Malvasia de Sitges<\/a>\u00a0 where 700\u20ac were delivered to the Food Bank.<\/p>\n

The event was an initiative of the Barcelona CB and DIBA, with the support and coordination of the Sitges CB and the Catalunya CB.In January, we received a fam-trip of British agents specialised in the MICE sector and on 23 March another one from the Swiss market, both invited by Meli\u00e1 Hotels International and with the support of the Sitges CB. The event professionals visited the\u00a0 Meli\u00e1 Sitges<\/a> <\/strong>and the ME Sitges Terramar<\/a> <\/strong>hotels\u00a0 and they have also experienced Sitges up close and personally.<\/p>\n

Also, on March 20th, we hosted a group of 27 event organisers from Barcelona, invited by the Sunway Sitges<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 hotel with the support of the Sitges CB, who visited the hotel and its new meeting rooms, and tasted its gastronomy.Over the next few months, you will find us at:<\/strong><\/p>\n
