Dolce Sitges Reinforces its Management Staff With the Incorporation of Armando Waser as the New General Manager, and Eugeni Serranos as the New Director of Food and Beverage

Armando Waser and Eugeni Serranos join Dolce Sitges’ management team to lead the hotel and the Food & Beverage department, bringing with them their extensive experience in the hotel and catering world.

Barcelona, May 20th, 2022 – Dolce Hotels and Resorts by Wyndham, the international brand of independently owned hotels aimed at business and lifestyle travelers, announces the appointment of Armando Waser as the new General Manager; and Eugeni Serranos as the new Director of the F&B department of the Dolce by Wyndham Sitges Barcelona Hotel. The hotel is designed to be a genuine Oasis of Mediterranean Luxury where guests can unwind and enjoy its diverse spaces and cuisine.

Since this past April, new additions have been made to Dolce Sitges’ management team to position the hotel as a destination in itself, where one can rediscover the authentic essence of the Mediterranean in a prime location with incredible views of the Garraf Nature Park and the sea in the beautiful town of Sitges.

A passionate hotelier, Swiss-born Armando Waser has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the hotel industry over the past 20 years. With a degree from the renowned SHL Management School Lucerne and having pursued an executive education program in real estate and hotel investments at Cornell University, Armando is highly skilled in overseeing strategic developments while remaining sensitive to the challenges of operational management. His assignments include hotel management functions at hotels mainly belonging to the Hyatt brand. His career path has taken him to Lucerne, Madeira, Baku, Paris, Casablanca, London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Starting in 2019, Armando Waser was General Manager of Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay & Hyatt Taghazout Residences near Agadir, Morocco, until he joined Dolce Sitges.

Eugeni Serranos, an expert in the world of gastronomy, has vast experience in the catering industry. Serranos began his professional career as a young man, working as a waiter until he founded his first two restaurant-bars and finally a catering company. After that, he joined the Fira Barcelona International Trade Fair, where he managed major events such as the Cysco System Company World Party or the Ericcson Social Event, as manager of the catering and restaurant facilities. He was also in charge of the Hospitalities Suites project at the Mobile World Congress for six years, and managed other events of the same magnitude. In addition, he coordinated all the catering for the IBTM show. At the end of his stage at Fira Barcelona, he returned to the hotel world during the Hotel Majestic Barcelona’s new stage, where he actively participated in the renovation of all the catering areas and its incorporation into the Leading Hotels of the World. He then went on to work for several hotels in the Caribbean, Marbella, Gerona, Tarragona and Dubai, where he led food and beverage segments of the Spanish and Mexican Pavilion as well as three successful concepts with an unbeatable location. Finally, he joined Dolce Sitges.
