This dinner will be based on an exclusive menu, enhanced by a resident DJ, which will feature the following four appetizers: Nori seaweed tempura, Crispy prawns with Romesco sauce, a shot of Escudella broth (a rich traditional stew) and Iberian ham Air baguette; a main course to choose between cannelloni stuffed with roast meat, wild porcini mushroom béchamel sauce and hen glaze or roast shoulder of lamb with potatoes, onions, tomato and sweet potato puree; Muscovado sugar sponge cake with passion fruit ganache and cocoa slate for dessert and a selection of wines and cavas, plus coffees. All this for only 55€/person.
Likewise, the launch of this Christmas proposal coincides with the presentation of the Terrassa La Punta Restaurant’s new menu, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant with incredible views of the Garraf Park, an ode to the ephemeral products of the forest: mushrooms, tubers, truffles, … and also game …, what the French call the “terroir”. And the fact is that all the suggestions from the hotel’s chefs, directed by Jaume Balada, revisit those traditional soups and stews of yesteryear preserved in our memory, but redesigned through modern techniques to offer a contemporary, vibrant and innovative cuisine. Among their delicious gastronomic creations, the following dishes deserve special mention: wild mushroom royal with sous-vide egg and foie pasties; rice with mushrooms, pork jowl, butifarra sausage and cheek with mushroom butter; salt-baked sea bass with potato and steamed vegetables and bearnaise sauce or baked gurnard, artichokes, spring onions and cod-belly, among others.
