The Pasatempo restaurant in the Sabàtic Sitges hotel has been chosen to be part of the Barcelona Sustainable Gastronomy guide by VISA and Biosphere, in recognition of its commitment to sustainability.

The seal it was awarded identifies the Sabàtic as one of the hotels with the best sustainability and environmental practices, bearing in mind that it fulfils the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, like offering a healthy and inclusive range of products and services, conducting social actions, having a responsible procurement policy and including and empowering women.

The Sabàtic Sitges hotel, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, has been an environmentally-aware hotel since it opened a little over a year ago. This is based on everything from the materials and resources it uses to operate to its supplier relations, acquisition of local products and focus on local partners, as well as its promotion of the local culture.

It encourages sustainable transport in both its services (train station or beach shuttle using an electric van) and the mobility options it provides its guests: touring bicycles, electric scooters, etc.
