International corporate events are returning to Sitges again, as confirmed by the hotels and venues that are associate members of the Sitges Convention Bureau. Events by European companies, mainly from France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, farther away destinations including Iran or India.

Events which join the sporting events that, with a female focus, will be bringing together women chess players and golfers from 38 different international destinations in Sitges.

With an international and women-oriented spirit, the 54^th Sitges, Festival internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya will be kicking off on October 7^th, exceeding participation estimates and once again even more international than ever, presenting this year’s WomanInFan section, born with the intention of highlighting the role of women filmmakers in fantastic genre.

The EMI-Event Management Institute, the University of Barcelona and the Sitges Convention Bureau are organizing Psicothon, the world’s first research marathon on live communication.

As part of its #F5SitgesRefreshingMICE program, the Sitges Convention Bureau is sponsoring Psicothon, a meeting for students and professionals that will be focusing its research challenge on the topic “Events: The Communication Tool that Changes Behavior” and aims to answer, from the psychological perspective, the question “What are the Mechanisms that can Condition the Public’s Behavior at an Event?”

The Psicothon will take place in the facilities of the UB’s Faculty of Psychology in Barcelona on Saturday October 23^rd from 09:00 am to 9:00 pm and registrations will be open until October 12^th at 12 midnight.

This action is part of the #F5SitgesRefreshingMICE program, which aims to shake up the effervescent MICE world and that brought together more than 350 national MICE professionals this spring at 9 in-person and hybrid events, as well as the EMA Consensum I, II and III work groups, all catalyzed by the Sitges CB.

Clara Biosca, from BBVA Paris, another winner of the #SitgesMICEFan contest who enjoyed a stay in Sitges thanks to the Sitges CB and its associate members.

Box de Ideas held their annual meeting at Dolce Sitges and had the chance to experience the destination first-hand, with the program created for them by the Sitges CB.

Isabel Salazar from Kiero Travel in Salamanca and Benoit Inizan from Mana Voyages, France, were given a tour of the MICE hotels and events venues that are associate members of the Sitges CB.

The documentary THE MEMORY OF THE BONES by Roccomotion is now part of the catalog of the FILMIN auteur cinema platform. The film depicts the work of the EAAF, an NGO composed of forensic anthropologists, which has been recovering and identifying the remains of missing persons for 30 years. Roccomotion accompanies companies in the development of their audiovisual communication.
