‘Yes, to meeting in Sitges’, the Sitges Convention Bureau’s new promotional video in 5 languages.

Under the slogan ‘Yes, to meeting in Sitges’, a one-minute audiovisual production in 5 languages: English, French, Catalan, Spanish and German (coming soon), was released this week to reinforce the destination within the business tourism sector, and with the intention of showcasing its adaptation to, and compliance with, all health regulations on behalf of both the destination and the establishments that host business tourism here. The new video is a continuation of the ‘Yes, to Sitges’ Campaign, which the Department of Tourism launched in May.

The new promo piece highlights Sitges’ strong points as a leading global destination for business tourism in Catalonia: because its size and layout offer visitors the possibility of getting around on foot with no need for using public transport, plus it’s a town where the sun shines 300 days a year and its winters are extremely mild. ‘Yes, to meeting in Sitges’ focuses on unique open-air venues and secluded gardens that allow for organizing outdoor events and activities all throughout the year, as well as convention centers and hotels with rooms adapted to the new trends in smaller meetings. Another of the town’s strong points is that it allows you to optimize and balance work sessions with social life and the practice of healthy habits with a wide range of complementary services, the seaside promenade and Garraf Park.

The video was made in early September with the collaboration of the members of the Sitges Convention Bureau, a Sitges Town Council Department of Tourism program, and the private sector, which offered their facilities and materials and volunteered to participate. The Maricel Palace and Sitges’ Museums, Meliá Sitges, ME Terramar, Dolce Sitges, Casa Bacardí, Agisitges, Sitges Outdoor, Ocio Vital, as well as local Sitgetans, all contributed to the video.

With this joint effort on behalf of the Sitges CB, the intention is to explain that organizing meetings are possible and the destination is prepared for the return of events.

Sitges is a responsible, safe destination committed to health protection measures. The video ‘Yes, to meeting in Sitges’ complements the ‘Sitges Loves Events’ campaign, launched in July to promote events in town.
