Família Torres has joined the global B Corp™ community after attaining a score of 121.3 points, well above the minimum requirement of 80 needed to obtain this international certification.
Since April 2026, B Lab has certified that the Família Torres wineries in Spain and Chile meet the required standards on social and environmental impact, transparency and legal responsibility. The certification means the family winery is now part of a global movement of more than 10,000 companies working to promote a more inclusive, equal and regenerative economy.
The certification recognises the Família Torres business model based on regenerative ecological wine making, the production of organic wines and the development of initiatives geared towards reducing the environmental impact and generating positive value for the local area.
The recognition also highlights practices linked to water management, soil conservation, the protection of biodiversity and climate action, as well as the company’s own programmes such as Torres & Earth and projects to recover ancestral grape varieties.
Adhesion to B Corp™ represents another step in the sustainable roadmap of Família Torres, combining wine making traditions, innovation and a commitment to the environment.
