One of the great rewards of traveling is learning something new, whether it’s about the place you’re visiting, its people and culture, or discovering more about yourself. Sitges generates a positive and enriching impact, in an environmentally friendly setting. Its blue, green, orange, white colors… make an impact on your mind generating harmony, positive energy, revolution and optimism, so we brought them to the “All About People” event so that 50 meeting planners could develop their creations inspired by the colors of Sitges.
On International Women’s Day, we also dressed in pink and celebrated experiences led by extraordinary women, for example the “Woman Rocks” event held at the Eurostars Sitges 5* Hotel, which brought together more than 100 women entrepreneurs.
“Sitges Loves Events”, and that’s why this past March in Sitges we welcomed and shared its energy and values with close to 300 MICE professionals, who experienced the destination first-hand at different events, as detailed below.The Sitges Convention Bureau (Sitges CB), the Sitges Town Council Tourism Department’s program specializing in the MICE sector, held its annual meeting on March 14th at the Eurostars Sitges Hotel, attended by 51 participants.
During the event, the most important actions planned for 2023 in terms of promoting the destination within the MICE sector to capture congresses, meetings, conventions and incentive trips, as well as the actions implemented during 2022, were all presented.On March 9th, the Catalonia Convention Bureau Members’ Day was held in Sitges with the participation of more than 100 associate members. The CCB presented their action plan, as well as new strategies to promote MICE in Catalonia. The conference, which was attended by Narcís Ferrer, Director of the Catalan Tourism Agency, was also an opportunity to share tools and knowledge to facilitate the application of sustainability, accessibility and market intelligence in meeting tourism.Organized by the Hotel Calipolis and with the support of the Sitges CB, on March 9th we also welcomed to Sitges 37 MICE professionals from Barcelona, who enjoyed the hotel’s facilities with an activity organized by Fun Acció Sitges, a game that allowed them to get to know the hotel in a fun and entertaining way.

The Eurostars Hotel Company, a hotel chain belonging to the Hotusa Group, has just added the Eurostars Sitges 5* to its portfolio, which until now had operated under the name Dolce Sitges. The establishment has been incorporated under a lease agreement.
