The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has chosen Sitges as a destination committed to sustainability.
Here at the Tourism Department, we have completed the first phase of the destination’s Tourism Carrying Capacity analysis, which we conducted together with the Barcelona Provincial Council and the in2destination company.
As a result of this work, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has chosen Sitges as a destination committed to sustainability and highlights the study as an initiative to progress towards a comprehensive and sustainable management of the destination.

We have created a new section on the Sitges Convention Bureau website, where you will find all the videos of the destination, which we will be updating on a regular basis.We are living in unique times, but in spite of this unprecedented scenario, our goal remains the same: we will stay by your side and carry on with our activity. The entire Sitges CB team is working to offer you assistance and advice.

The Sitges CB will represent Catalonia’s local Convention Bureaus in the Catalonia Convention Bureau’s Executive Committee during 2021 and 2022, in order to convey proposals and promotional requirements and give visibility to all the territories they represent.
The local Convention Bureaus of Catalonia are: Girona City CB, Lleida Event & CB, Tarragona CB, Lloret CB, Baix Llobregat CB, Val d’Aran CB and La Garrotxa Reunions entre volcans. Sitges CB is taking over from Lloret CB and will have the support of Girona City CB as a substitute.In Sitges, we never stop. During the month of January the associated hotels opened and operational in Sitges are: Meliá Sitges, Hotel MiM Sitges, Hotel Calipolis, Hotel Estela Barcelona and Hotel Sunway.Thanks to a drone’s eye view, discover the transformed Dolce by Wyndham Sitges, which reopened its doors in January 2020 with renovated restaurants, services, facilities and rooms and suites with a new, Mediterranean design. It will be waiting for you this 2021 with renewed energy.
