Since 2016, Sitges is certified as a Biosphere destination, a groundbreaking destination, and works to improve in all areas of sustainability, environmental, economic and social, as well as to ensure all safety and health conditions, in order to provide and maintain a balance between tourists and residents.
Biosphere has recently launched a new website, where you can see all the certified companies. You can find Sitges’ businesses here and also on the Sitges CB website where you can see the best practices of its companies in line with and linked to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.The new “Chiringuitos” or beach bars are now open in Sitges, ideal spaces for your corporate events as well. The Town Council has committed to a more sustainable, rational, up-to-date and competitive beach model, which applies sustainable criteria that highlight the importance of knowing and preserving the natural environment.
