Meliá Sitges implements the sustainability programme Road to Net Zero Events, becoming one of the pioneering Meliá Hotels International hotels that have launched this project within the company.

Meliá Hotels International has created the Road to Net Zero Events programme with the goal of highlighting its involvement and commitment to sustainability in the MICE segment as well.

In collaboration with the Creast company, it has developed cutting-edge technology that makes it possible to calculate the carbon footprint of groups and events at its hotels in real time, while providing clients with solutions to offset their carbon footprint.

Meliá Sitges has also invested in the renovation of its lawn area, replacing natural grass with high-quality artificial grass to reduce water consumption and make the space more sustainable.
