The 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia took place on October and has gone down in history as one of its most successful editions, even more so than in pre-pandemic times. The 7th edition of Sitges Next will be held on November, a festival dedicated to promoting innovation in communication for brands, agencies, start-ups and technological creators.The 55^th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia took place from October 6^th to 16^th and has gone down in history as one of its most successful editions, even more so than in pre-pandemic times. In numbers: 7 theaters with a total area of 3150 m2; 283 films; 10 international premieres; 40 female directors honoring the important history of fantastic genre films directed by women; more than 350 national and international guest artists presenting 26 of this year’s most eagerly awaited projects; 5 presentations; 20 workshops; 3 one to one meeting sessions; 5 exhibitions and an endless number of parallel activities.

Meliá Sitges, the central headquarters of the Festival has two projection rooms: the Auditorium, with capacity for 1,380 spectators, and the Tramuntana Room, where 400 journalists gather first thing in the morning to enjoy press screenings.The 7^th edition of Sitges Next will be held on November 10^th and 11^th, a festival dedicated to promoting innovation in communication for brands, agencies, start-ups and technological creators.
