IMF (IBERIAN MICE FORUMS), in collaboration with Finca Mas Solers and the Sitges Convention Bureau, will be organizing an exclusive event in Sitges in June for the MICE market in Spain and Portugal.
The IMF National Edition will be the meeting point for national planners, agencies, associations, event managers, destinations and suppliers in the MICE sector from all over Spain. More than 150 MICE sector players, opinion leaders and suppliers are expected to attend this professional event, which will take place in Sitges on June 15 and 16.
During this professional forum 20 pre-established one-to-one meetings, motivational sessions, training sessions and Masterclasses will be scheduled, in addition to living the Sitges experience. The target group of attending buyers will be mixed, ranging from 60 to 80 event planners from national agencies, associations and companies.
The social program, consisting of gastronomic team building events and activities that will delight all six senses, will allow participants to experience the destination up close and personally.
All of this will take place in a safe event in compliance with the strictest health and safety protocols, including antigen testing for all attendees.
Sitges is the number two destination in Catalonia for hosting meetings tourism, a segment that accounts for 40% of annual overnight stays according to data from the Sitges Hotel and Catering Association. An average of 600 meetings are held each year, 50% of which are national.
