The Assembly of IDEMICE – I’M, the Association of Incentive Travel Agencies, was held on June 14th, attended by 35 representatives of the 40 member agencies and from Dolce Sitges, where they discussed the sector and the incentive market’s revival period and reached common agreements, they held workshops on sustainability, legal areas and training.
They were also able to get to know the destination up close and personally. The Sitges CB, in collaboration with Grup Limousines, organized a tour in 12 classic cars that started at Dolce Sitges, passed through the Terramar Racetrack, continued to Me Sitges Terramar, where a cocktail party was held at the Radio Roof Top bar and later at the swimming pool, dinner was presided over by Aurora Carbonell, Mayor of Sitges, and Luis Miguel García Alcaraz, Town Councilor for Tourism.
The event concluded with a cocktail workshop offered by Wine Tasting Spain.
IDEMICE I’M+ is made up of 40 specialized incentive travel agencies that have created an association to promote their economic activity, which is essential for the Spanish tourism sector. This new association’s main objective is to promote its high value-added services, with clients from major corporations and multinationals from all over the world. This type of initiative contributes to reinforcing the MICE sector and giving it visibility.
