As of this past month of April, events have been setting the tone in Sitges. Here’s a sample of the Sitges experience enjoyed by national and international event, congress and incentive organizers.

As of this past month of April, events have been setting the tone in Sitges, with congresses including: The Bitumen Waterproofing Conference; The International Conference on Bio-Sensing Technology; The International Conference on AgriFood Biotechnology; ESTIV2022. As well as other conventions, incentives and the global presentation of the SEAT Cupra at the Terramar Racetrack, which brought together more than 4,000 guests from 44 countries.

Let yourself be inspired – #SitgesGreenSustainableMICE

The Sitges CB took part in the EMA – Event Managers Association Spain’s “#sustainableevents Specialization” Seminar at the ME Barcelona, with the attendance of more than 20 #eventmanagers, and presented Sitges as an ideal destination for Sustainable Events. In addition, and during the Iberian MICE Forums, for 60 MICE agencies and corporate event managers.

The Sitges CB prepared a manual for organizing “Green” and sustainable events, a guide that includes specific activities, local companies committed to the 17 SDGs and many other suggestions.

Presentation of the MICE Research Cell – #F5SitgesRefreshingMICE

During the Iberian MICE Forums and at the Spain Convention Bureau Sessions, the Sitges CB, along with Raimond Torrents from the Event Management Institute, shared the conclusions of the MICE Research Cell, pioneering research in this sector, which defines the elements involved in the decision-making process for choosing a destination or venue and which was promoted by the Sitges CB, under the #F5SitgesRefreshingMICE umbrella.

Dolce Sitges Reinforces its Management Staff with the Incorporation of Armando Waser as the New General Manager, and Eugeni Serranos as the New Director of Food and Beverage. They join Dolce Sitges’ management team to lead the hotel and the Food & Beverage department, bringing with them their extensive experience in the hotel and catering world.

ME Sitges Terramar has created a new promotional video that will help you get to know its facilities and see all the options it offers for your events. A hotel designed to enjoy open outdoor spaces overlooking the sea. Located on Sitges’ Passeig Marítim promenade, just a 20-minute walk from the old town, right on the beachfront and with spectacular panoramic views of Sitges.

Art workshop for groups at the Hotel Estela Barcelona. They have created a different and very entertaining recreational activity. A well-known professional artist welcomes the group with a glass of cava and gives them a brief tour of the Hotel to learn about its history. Then they move to a room where the painter instructs the participants so they can each paint their own picture and discover their inner artist!

Finca Mas Solers, a venue for events and meetings, will once again be the stage for SON SOLERS, this coming Friday, July 15^th. After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sant Pere de Ribes music festival will be back in action with a line-up featuring Ramon Mirabet, Maria Jaume, Miqui Puig DJ and Paunezz.

Fun-Acció Sitges has created a new activity via a customizable App, based on a fictional story about the murder of a member of the Bacardi family. Participants navigate Sitges in search of clues to discover the assassin, the murder weapon and a secret recipe. They already launched the activity last week for 100 people from an international company.

Roccomotion Audiovisual is accompanying Contrapunt BBDO and Carmela Films in the production of the Branded Content campaign for Naturgy, with Samanta Villar, which will be broadcasted soon.
