| Non-use/reduction of disposable plastics
All plastic bottles have been removed from, restaurants, Deli and convention center. They remain only as courtesy water in the guest rooms. We are in negotiations with a supplier to add an in house water filter system for the restaurant La Punta and bar Malvasia. This would mean replacing both still and sparkling water options to a filtered system in house. |
| Recycling and waste
We recycle plastic, paper and glass via the town hall collection system. |
| Energy saving and efficiency
We are investing to upgrade the insulation of roof pipping. To reduce energy losses through the outside pipes. |
| Since 2019 outdoor pools are heated by solar panels only, to between 18 and 26 degrees depending on time of year and sunshine. |
| In low season we close sections of the hotel in relation to AC tower units to save circulation of energy. |
| This is a CAPEX project for 2022, to reduce AC con Sumption in the mid-section of the guest room corridors. |
| Every 3 days or on request we change guests sheets as part of an ongoing green plan. |
