CIM – Malvasia Interpretation Centre
The Malvasia Interpretation Centre is located in the complex at the Hospital de Sant Joan Baptista de Sitges, a singular space where vines, caring for people and art go hand in hand to become a unique wine experience in Sitges. Managed by the Celler de l’Hospital, a unique winery in Sitges and heir from the golden age of wines in the coastal town.
Located in the Corral de la Vila, an 18th century building of popular architecture, it offers spaces for all sorts of meetings, its facilities acting as a gateway to discover the traditions of Sitges through a contemporary lens. These spaces are perfect for private or personal events, offering a historical, relaxed context with gastronomy.
Experience a view of Catalonia’s last urban vines in a modernista complex in the heart of Sitges. A wine experience never before seen in an internationally recognised tourist biosphere.

Malvasia Tour
Guided tour of urban vines at the Celler de l’Hospital de Sitges, the modernista complex and the Malvasia Interpretation Centre to discover the social and wine-making history of Malvasia de Sitges. Includes a guided tasting of 100% Malvasia de Sitges wines with different degustation and food pairing categories depending on the experience chosen.
Malvasia Journey: Sitges, culture and wine
Guided tour around the historical centre of Sitges, culminating with urban vines and the Malvasia Interpretation Centre. Includes wine tasting or wine and food experience depending on category.
Mar de Malvasia
Wine experience combining the wine culture and fishing tradition of Sitges. Includes a visit to the CIM and urban vines, discovery of fishing arts and a seafood meal with Malvasia pairing, with the local fishing guild, the Confraria de Pescadors de Sitges.
Malvasies del Món
Comparative experience combining a guided tour of urban vines and the CIM, with a tasting of six international malvasias. Allows participants to analyse different varietal expressions according to territory, climate and production style.
Sailing and Discovering Sitges
Premium experience combining sailing along the coast of Sitges, a walking tour of the historical centre and a visit to the Celler de l’Hospital. Ends with a guided tasting of three malvasia wines and a Mediterranean aperitif.
