The winner of the #SitgesMICEFan contest, Clara Biosca from Spain, based in Paris for twenty years and a BBVA event organizer, enjoyed a stay in Sitges arranged by the Sitges CB.
From September 15th to 17th we welcomed Clara Biosca, one of the winners of the Sitges Convention Bureau’s “SitgesMICEFan” contest, to Sitges. Here are some images of her Sitges experience:Clara was able to enjoy a stay in Sitges along with her partner thanks to the Sitges CB and its associate members, and experience the destination first-hand, visiting events venues including Me Sitges Terramar, Melia Sitges, MiM Sitges, Hotel Sunway Sitges,Sitges Museums and BCN Naval Tours’ Fast Ferry.
The Sitges Convention Bureau organized a contest back in April for professionals from the MICE sector, asking for a video explaining their experience in Sitges as event organizers, and a description of Sitges in three words: a color: the blues, an adjective: positive nostalgia, and a value: art with the Cau Ferrat and the Sant Bartomeu Church.Box de Ideas held its internal meeting on September 17th at the Dolce Sitges Hotel.
The organization’s twelve members experienced the destination in person and following the meeting, they enjoyed the local gastronomy at the Pic Nic Restaurant and special activities for groups and events provided by Sitges CB and BCN Naval Tours.This month we were also visited on September 17th and 18th by Isabel Salazar from Kiero Travel in Salamanca and Benoit Inizan from Mana Voyages, France.
They stayed at Dolce Sitges and were offered tours of MICE hotels and events venues that are associate members of the Sitges CB, including Finca Mas Solers, Meliá Sitges, Hotel Estela Barcelona, Hotel Calipolis and Hotel MiM Sitges . They also enjoyed BCN Naval Tours‘ Speed Boat and a cultural tour including a visit to the Maricel Palace and the Sitges Malvasia Interpretation Center.
